The Foundations in Fitness & Exercise Physiology course is the prerequisite course for most Fitness New Brunswick Certification. It is completely online and self-paced, although it is recommended to complete the course within 6 to 8 weeks. Foundations provides the student with the fundamentals of becoming a fitness professional and includes modules such as anatomy and physiology, movement mechanics, energy systems, basic nutrition and much more. The curriculum is formatted into modules with review questions and short quizzes that will test the participants' knowledge along the way. When ready, students can access the official exam.

This Core Essentials Movement Workshop will focus on strengthening the core muscles to improve overall stability, posture, and functional movement. This practical workshop will emphasizes 6 foundational core movement patterns and show how to progress with adding load, velocity (speed), planes of movement and multi-vector training.
